The 80PK-3A Type K Thermocouple Surface Probe is designed for measuring the temperature of flat or slightly convex surfaces, with an exposed junction to allow direct contact with the surface being measured. The probe can be used with any temperature-measuring instrument that is designed to accept type K thermocouples and has a miniature connector input.

Hello, Does this probe comes with a CAL Certificate?
Rated 2 out of 5 by MBMetrologist from Accurate, but far too delicate for repeated use Purchase to perform temperature uniformity tests on a plate press. Temperature measurements were accurate. Broke at the weld point on the first press we tested. I would not recommend it as there are more robust options out there.

Excellent for our flat hot platen surface mapping when obtaining data points across our hot sealing surface for system calibration. Have not had a failure in the two we keep with our calibration meters over the past 6 years. We recommend it to our customers who maintain their own equipment and calibration.

Rated 4 out of 5 by daneno from Fast response time This product is fast and works well. The only issue is robustness, I have had several and they break very easily. I believe the weld is a weak point in the design. With that said I would buy another one because of how it works.
